Hello Kitty Cards

This is a card I made for my niece Lily's 2nd birthday. The Hello Kitty Cartridge is alot of work, but oh so cute!!!

Monday, March 16th

Isabel wanted to try on some of her Daddy's clothes last night. We think she looked pretty darn cute. She loves her daddy!

T-Rex got Declawed, Neutered, and had shots today. He came through just fine but has to spend the night at the vet clinic. Poor baby is probably scared. Isabel cries when she remembers that he is not here. We can't wait to get him back tomorrow!

No Voice

I have had a head cold all week, but today I have NO voice! It was interesting at work because I could not answer the phones. It worked out pretty well, but it was a pain. I am hoping to have it back tomorrow. Isabel seems to be feeling better, but now Mike says he is coming down with something. Great! His parents are coming tomorrow for a weekend visit. Can't Wait!

T-Rex was not able to get neutered last sunday because he had a fever of 104.2. On Monday he goes in for a declaw, shots, and now neuter. Poor guy.

Not a whole lot happening here this weekend. I had a training for 6 hours yesterday then we took Izzy to the Library. She checked out a book about race cars. Today Mike is grocery shopping, I am doing laundry, cleaning scrapbook room and making cards. We have to take T-Rex to the vet today to get "snipped" poor guy. They are doing free nueters at our vet today so we had to take advantage! Poor cat does not understand why he hasn't gotten any food since last night. I feel bad for him! All is well otherwise. Silly Sleeping Girl

This picture was taken during naptime at school. Izzy has started having "rests" again after 2 years of no naps! Crazy girl. Anyway, it was PJ day at school and Isabel patted the dragon to "sleep" and then just fell asleep on the floor next to the cot. Too cute! She is such a crack up.

Puppy Dog Birthday Card

Here is a card I just finished...it drove me crazy to get the cuts right. Anyway, it is done and I am "kinda" happy with it. The cuts are all from the doodle charms cartridge! Hope you like him!

I am being driven crazy by the fact that when I use a new background for my blog the "the cutest blog on the block" title covers my stuff! I look at other people's blogs and it shows off to the far left for them...what am I doing wrong?

We are still trying to get to feeling better here at our house! I finally went back to work today for a 1/2 day after 6 days off, Isabel is still not feeling well. Fever spikes to 103+ every time her motrin wears off. Went to the dr. today and he gave us a prescription for a sinus infection, though he is not sure if it is that or just a virus. It is worth a shot! Keep your fingers crossed that this is the down hill slope of the Dorssom Crud!

Sick of being Sick

Today I stayed home from work because I was sick. I have had body aches, shivering and fever all day. In fact, 2 hours ago my temp was 102.4. I am down to 100.6 with 4 motrin in me right now. I have already called in to work tomorrow, I hope I feel a little better so I can at least work part of the day. I feel so guilty being gone. Anyhoo, not much else going on.

This Picture just cracks me up...T-Rex spoon cuddling with Aspen. They are way to big for this little bed, but they insist on sharing:o) These guys are a blast to have around the house. Never a dull moment with a 4 year old and 2 cats!! Happy Saturday Everyone!

Here is the Valentine's Day Card I created for this year. I used the Walk in My Garden Cricut Cartridge for the cuts, and used White Core Paper and sanded it. Hope you like it!!!

Going for a "Snow Walk"

Yesterday it snowed about 6 inches here in Laramie, so Izzy and I decided to walk over to the school by our house and play in the snow for a while. It was SO COLD, but Izzy told me "that it was just her brain freezing" and that she was OK to play for awhile! She made snow angels, made tracks in the snow and went down all the slides which were SUPER FAST because they were icy! She came flying out the bottom and landed in a pile of snow! Too fun! I am not much of a cold weather person, so I was ready to go home after a few minutes, but I stuck it out for about an hour. Aren't I a super mom? :o) hee hee.

DAY 1

Today is a lazy day...I don't really know what to do with myself so I decided to start a blog after admiring the blogs of a bunch of talented "paper crafters." I plan to share stories & pics from my family life, but also want this to be a place I can share my love of Scrapbooking and Card Making. I hope you enjoy and I really hope that I am disciplined enough to keep up with this! :o)
